- Assistant Director of the Payment Systems Department at the Central Bank of Jordan, with over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of payment systems, oversight, supervision, and financial market infrastructure development. Responsible for the development and enhancement of the Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system in Jordan, leading strategic initiatives aimed at improving system efficiency, resilience, and operational effectiveness. She also serves as Head of the RTGS Operating Hours Extension Team, overseeing the expansion and optimization of system availability. In addition, plays a key role in the automation of government payments at the Central Bank of Jordan, contributing to improved efficiency, transparency, and reliability of public-sector payment processes. Chairs the National ISO 20022 Development Committee, leading national efforts to align Jordan’s payment systems with international messaging and interoperability standards. A core member of the Central Bank teams responsible for drafting and developing all regulatory instructions related to the licensing of Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Payment System Operators, and she is entrusted with identifying and appointing members of national teams responsible for drafting payment and transfer system frameworks in Jordan. Furthermore, responsible for the periodic assessment of Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs) in accordance with international standards and principles. Member of AMF committee for payment and settlement.
