Biography

Aleksandre Ergeshidze leads the assessment and supervision of credit, liquidity, market, operational and cyber risks in the financial sector. With over 13 years of experience in financial stability and risk-based supervision, he has contributed to strengthening the oversight of operational resilience and cybersecurity risks in financial institutions, as well as to the development of Georgia’s macroprudential policy framework, stress-testing tools and supervisory methodologies aligned with international standards. He holds a PhD in Economics from Tbilisi State University.
