- Biography
- Martin has been working at the National Bank of Slovakia in the supervisory section since 2003. From the beginning, he was involved in the development of IT systems supporting financial market supervision, including a machine learning system for bank scoring in 2005. Later, his duties also included the assessment of models for credit, market, operational, and insurance risks in supervised entities. Currently as the Director of the Financial Technology and Innovations Department, he oversees the supervision of payment services (PSD2 regulation) and crypto assets (MiCA regulation), horizontal IT supervision (DORA regulation), and internal IT support for supervision, including AnaCredit and other registers. His department also supports innovations in the financial sector by running the Innovation Hub and the Regulatory Sandbox.
