Biography

Karmendra Kohli is a seasoned cybersecurity professional whose 24-year career traces the full arc of modern information security. His current role as a strategic leader and trusted advisor to global organizations has been built on a robust foundational journey, from hands-on developer to technical consultant, through governance, risk and compliance advisory, serving some of the world's most consequential financial institutions. As CEO and Cofounder of SecurEyes, Karmendra has built a global cybersecurity enterprise that serves over 1,000 clients across 10 + countries, with delivery centres spanning India, the UAE, KSA, and the USA. Under his leadership, the firm has completed more than 17,500 consulting engagements and trained over 50,000 professionals spanning finance, government, healthcare, shipping, aviation, and critical infrastructure. Karmendra is a recognized authority on cybersecurity within the central banking and financial services sector. He has advised monetary authorities, regulators, and major financial institutions worldwide, helping them design cybersecurity strategies, define governance frameworks, build cyber resilience, and align with global and regional standards including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST-CSF, FFIEC, and HIPAA. He brings a rare combination of technical depth and boardroom fluency equally at home formulating Cybersecurity strategies to facilitating strategic risk workshops with C-suite executives and board members to conducting deep-dive vulnerability assessments of critical systems.
